In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Lee Jung-jae (Seong Gi-hun or Player 456) expressed that he is curious yet nervous to learn about the fan reactions once the season releases on June 27.

The 52-year-old, who would now be back in the games after becoming a failed rebellion, expressed his thoughts about the emotional final chapter of the series, “We are going to be releasing quite soon, I am very nervous. I know that a lot of you out there are curious about what’s going to happen in season three, but all of us are more curious about how much you’re going to enjoy it. So I can’t wait, I’m very nervous.”Lee Jung-jae won an Emmy in 2022 for his staggering performance in the series. Additionally, the breathtaking work by everyone included in the series led to topping the charts and breaking the previous records.
“It’s perfectly written”
Furthermore, Lee Byung-hun mentioned that the actor had read the script for seasons 2 and 3 together, and it’s perfectly written. “It was just perfectly written. It was such an intriguing and gripping read, and I was once again in awe of director Hwang [Dong-hyuk]’s abilities,” the 54-year-old expressed.

When asked about how he felt about the ending, Lee states, “I’m happy with how it ended, but I know that the fans out there, they each have what they want to see happen, so I really am curious about how they’re going to respond to it. And I’m very nervous to find out.”
