Samantha Ruth Prabhu spends three days in silence without a phone: ‘Being alone with ourselves has become one of the scariest things…’

Samantha Ruth Prabhu took a break from her busy acting schedule to find peace and refreshment. The actress shared her experience of spending three days in silence without using a mobile phone to reset herself.
Samantha took to her Instagram stories to share a picture from her recent spiritual visit to an organisation in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The actress showcased the beautiful green surroundings along with her ID card for the sessions. She captioned the picture, “Three days in silence. No phone. No communication. Just me for company.”

She further added, “Somehow, being alone with ourselves has become one of the scariest things. Would I do it again? A million times, yes. Would I recommend you try it? A million times, yes.” The Citadel: Honey Bunny actress admitted that solitude can be intimidating, yet she would willingly experience it again and again.

Samantha is known for sharing updates about her physical and mental health with fans on social media. She tied the knot with Naga Chaitanya in 2017 but got divorced in 2021. Following their separation, she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, myositis. The actress went through a visibly difficult phase and took a hiatus.
Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya later married actress Sobhita Dhulipala in December 2024. He recently addressed his separation from Samantha, clarifying that his now-wife Sobhita had nothing to do with his divorce from Samantha.
On the work front, Samantha was last seen in the OTT-released action series ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ by Raj & DK, where she shared the screen with Varun Dhawan. She will next be seen in ‘Rakht Brahmand’ by Raj & DK, which is expected to feature Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead role. Additionally, she will also appear in the Telugu movie ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’.
