HYDERABAD: A 15-year-old student ended her life allegedly due to personal problems at her house in Luxettipet in Mancherial, on Monday. The girl, a class 10 student of a school in Luxettipet, stayed with her mother, a housewife. On Monday morning, the mother found her dead when she returned home. In her complaint to the police, the mother alleged that her stepbrothers, who live in the neighbourhood, might have killed her. The woman had married twice and both her husbands are no more. The girl’s three stepbrothers are from the woman’s second husband’s first wife, police said.But during probe, police found that the three stepbrothers, who are all married, were at their homes around the time the girl died. Police suspect that the girl might have ended her life due to a strained relationship with a friend. “The girl’s body was handed over to her mother after postmortem. There was no suicide note. We have sent the phone of the victim to the lab for analysis. Her call details will be analysed to gather clues about who she was in contact with. A suspicious death case was registered under section 194 of BNS,” Luxettipet SI G Suresh said.
