Mercedes-AMG GT 63, GT 63 Pro India launch date confirmed.

Mercedes-Benz India is gearing up to launch two of its high-powered AMG GT models: the GT 63 and the sharper, track-focused GT 63 Pro. Both coupes will make their India debut on June 27, as part of Mercedes-AMG’s continued push to enhance its presence in the performance segment.
The GT 63 Pro arrives as the flagship of the duo, equipped with a beastly 4.0-litre V8 bi-turbo engine that pumps out 612 hp and 850 Nm of torque. That’s a 27 hp and 50 Nm bump over the standard GT 63, which itself is no slouch, delivering 585 hp and 800 Nm of torque. Both models are capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in a blistering 3.2 seconds, with the Pro going even further: 0 to 200 km/h in just 10.9 seconds. The top speed? An electronically limited 317 kmph.
While the GT 63 is positioned as the more usable daily driver with a two-plus-two seating layout and AMG ACTIVE RIDE suspension, the GT 63 Pro is designed to bring racetrack thrills to the road. It debuted globally at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed and features extensive enhancements to its aerodynamics, chassis, and cooling systems.

One of the key highlights of the GT 63 Pro is its active aerodynamic package. It features carbon fibre air deflectors around the larger front air intakes, fixed rear wing and active underbody aero elements among other elements to keep the car planted at high speeds. Mercedes says the front-end lift is reduced by 30 kg, while the rear sees a 15 kg reduction in lift.
The GT 63 Pro also benefits from the AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL system with active roll stabilisation and rear-axle steering, further enhancing its on-track agility. It uses a 9-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT gearbox and the 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system to deliver power.
