NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo was left in complete disbelief after seeing how large a crowd was waiting for IShowSpeed outside his hotel. In a rare broadcast, the renowned player recently gave the online personality a heartfelt tour of Athens, Greece. As part of Speed’s European tour, the stream garnered international interest as the two travelled to some of the city’s most famous locations. They also covered places like the ancient Acropolis and Sepolia, where the NBA champ grew up.

No one anticipated the Twitch sensation to dunk a ball when Giannis Antetokounmpo chose to give IShowSpeed a tour of Greece. At the age of 14, the NBA icon made his first dunk at the outdoor court where their tour started. IShowSpeed was challenged by the NBA star to dunk on the same hoop. He was shocked when Speed managed to score with just enough lift. “Come on!” Speed yelled. “Where Giannis got his first dunk, I got mine!”The streamer looked unfazed. He then took the ball, gathered his strength, walked to the hoop, and got up to slam it. He did it despite being more than a foot shorter than Giannis Antetokounmpo. The dunk was one of the highlights of their day together.The Milwaukee Bucks player had a good time with IShowSpeed while giving him a tour of his homeland. Then, while the two were eating, the player revealed that NBA icon Michael Jordan would be visiting him the following day. This took the Twitch streamer by surprise.Speed said while his mouth was full:“I want to meet Jordan one day.” The NBA player asked, “When do you leave?”, although Speed couldn’t “disclose” the date. “If you’re here tomorrow, come with me,” he told the streamer.

Giannis Antetokounmpo then took Speed to a rooftop meal in the heart of Athens following the court appearance. As the conversation became more intimate, they had a classic Greek lunch that included gyros, Greek salad, baklava, and lemon soda. The duo then talked about racing one another as a light-hearted way to end the day. The NBA champ, however, declined, claiming that he would forfeit all of his sponsorship contracts. Later, as part of their Athens tour, Giannis Antetokounmpo led IShowSpeed up to the Acropolis.
