Recently, Wade’s entertainment company, 59th & Prairie Entertainment acquired the rights to Fantasy Camp. Union was right in the center of it, as she took to her social media to cheer for her husband on his next career venture. The comedy was pitched by Nicholas Thomas, who will write the script for the show as well.
Dwyane Wade’s Fantasy Camp comes to life at United Artists
Amazon MGM Studios and Scott Stuber’s United Artists have acquired the rights to a comedy feature titled Fantasy Camp. Written by Nicholas Thomas, it will see a group of friends heading to Dwyane Wade’s fantasy camp in Miami, at one of the most crucial points in their lives, while also getting to relive and experience their basketball dreams.The project will be produced by UA’s Stuber and Nick Nesbitt, 2.0 Entertainment’s Sophie Cassidy and Matt Crespy, 59th & Prairie Entertainment’s Dwyane Wade and Jon Marcus, and comic Nate Bargatze from Nateland Entertainment, who is also looking to star in the show as a lead. Announcing the upcoming project, 59th & Prairie posted on their Instagram handle, writing:“Big News! 🚨🎬 59th & Prairie is excited to bring Dwyane Wade’s Fantasy Camp to life! Coming soon⏳.”Fans can’t wait to see Fantasy Camp come to life – it will be yet another comedy gold from the production company, which has been getting plenty of positive reviews.
