“First training after last fight” – Mark Zuckerberg joins Alex Pereira for quick sparring session as MMA fervor takes over | International Sports News
Make Zuckerberg is an MMA junkie – or at least that’s what fans have been calling him. It was previously revealed that he has a coach and often spars with UFC fighters and other MMA enthusiasts – his latest sparring partner being Brazilian mixed martial artist and UFC champion, Alex Pereira. A short clip of the two of them engaging in a friendly sparring session has the internet absolutely awestruck.
Alex Pereira shows off sparring session with Mark Zuckerberg
The current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Alex Pereira recently posted a picture and a few short videos of him and Mark Zuckerberg hitting the gym for a sparring session. Fans have been trolling the Paotan for pulling his punches and joking about getting that bag by sparing some time for such sparring sessions. The videos of the two of them saw the Meta founder and the UFC champion locking up, but it was clear to everyone that the latter was holding back. Zuckerberg, though, looked pretty good with his moves, even if his opponent was most likely too scared to hurt him in the process.
Mark Zuckerberg ropes in Meta execs to train with him
Allegedly, not just UFC fighters or fellow MMA enthusiasts, Mark Zuckerberg even ropes in his own company’s executives to train with him. Last month in September, it was revealed that he had previously invited a few of his senior executives to join him for workout sessions. Meta’s former president of global affairs, Nick Clegg, shared in his book that he was pitted against his then deputy Joel Kaplan. Clegg has since stepped down from his role, and Kaplan has taken over for him as Meta’s new president of global affairs. Who knows, maybe more such unsuspecting executives were caught in the web of Zuckerberg’s love for the MMA since then.
