The snaps not only comprised Wade’s happy moments with his beloved wife Gabrielle Union-Wade and little daughter Kaavia but also reflected on gratitude. She captioned the story as,“My happiest place.”Both Wade and Union started dating in 2009. After a year of seeing each other, the couple made their relationship public in 2010. Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union Wade tied the knot on August 30, 2014, in Miami, Florida.

NBA legend Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union-Wade welcomed their daughter Kaavia via surrogacy in November 2018. The joy of motherhood went on to become a long-awaited one for the Hollywood star. Gabrielle was 36 and Dwyane Wade was 46 when they embraced parenthood in 2018. During an interview with a reputed media outlet, Marie Claire, in May, Gabrielle Union-Wade opened up on her surrogacy journey. Despite dealing with physical issues, she even confessed about the emotional cost that came along with the decision of undergoing surrogacy. Gabrielle Union-Wade said,“I’ll never have peace with it, ever. It’s such a personal journey that I may never know full peace with the coulda, woulda, shouldas. For me, it felt like failure. My body failed. It just felt like such a f—— public humiliation.”
She further mentioned,“Surrogacy felt like a cuckold; watching somebody do something I can’t do. To be there for somebody else succeeding where I failed — it is a mind f— for people who have had my journey and who feel similarly.”Union went ahead with surrogacy after multiple failed IVF attempts. As revealed by the actor, she even lost count of her IVF cycles while waiting to embrace the joy of being a mother.
