When Aishwarya Rai and Sanjay Dutt SCORCHED the big screen in Shabd; fans rediscover intimate scene 20 years later - WATCH

Fans of Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, were sent on a nostalgic trip down memory lane after rediscovering her 2005 film with Sanjay Dutt, titled Shabd.
Nearly two decades after its release, clips from the film have resurfaced online, leaving many surprised at the crackling on-screen chemistry between Ash and Sanju.
Directed by Leena Yadav, Shabd featured the beauty opposite Dutt and actor Zayed Khan. The psychological drama, which revolved around a writer’s complex imagination blurring into reality, saw Ash in a bold role compared to her usual screen presence. In one of the scenes, she was seen in an intimate setting with Sanju, a rarity in her filmography at the time.
The scene in question did not create much controversy upon its release, and neither did the film generate as much buzz at the box office, failing to gain much attention.

Two decades on, fans expressed their shock at rediscovering the film online, with many admitting they had either forgotten about Ash and Sanju’s partnership or others claiming that they had never seen the intimate scene before, thus serving as a perfect throwback for the film that clocked 20 years of its release this week.
Interestingly, in 2006, Aishwarya’s brief on-screen kiss with Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2 became a major talking point. The scene stirred massive controversy, with reports even suggesting that Aishwarya’s family and even Abhishek Bachchan, her then-boyfriend at the time, was also not pleased with the scene.
Dhoom 2 turned out to be a blockbuster, and Aishwarya’s bold transformation into a glamorous, action-packed role had fans swooning over her.
