Singer B Praak withdraws from Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast after his inappropriate remarks on India’s Got Latent: ‘Mummy kaisi hai…?’ | Hindi Movie News

Indian singer and music director B Praak has refused to attend YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast following his inappropriate remarks on comedian Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent. The singer called the incident “pathetic” and urged all panel members on the show to have respect for comedy.
Praak took to his Instagram handle to express his disappointment over Ranveer’s sexually offensive comment, revealing that he would no longer be attending the podcast episode he was scheduled for. He condemned the kind of language Ranveer used in the episode, calling it “pathetic” and contrary to Indian culture. Expressing disbelief, he questioned the nature of the stories being shared about parents and the manner in which they were discussed, stating that such content cannot be considered comedy or stand-up comedy.

He also criticised comedian Jaspreet Singh for promoting the use of abusive language, questioning the values of the current generation. He specifically called out Jaspreet, who is a Sikh, questioning whether such behaviour is appropriate for someone from the Sikh community. Praak expressed his disapproval of Singh openly justifying the use of expletives on Instagram.
“Logon ko gaaliyan dena, logon ko gaaliyan sikhana – yeh kaunsi generation hai? Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha, yeh generation hai kaunsi? Aur dekho, ek Sardar ji aate hain… Sardar ji, aapko pata hai ki aap ek Sikh ho aur aapko yeh cheez shobha deti hai? ‘Mummy kaisi hai?’ Are you crazy? Aap kya sikh de rahe ho logon ko? Aap kya sikh de rahe ho? Aur woh Sardar ji apne Instagram pe bilkul daalte hain ke main gaaliyan deta hoon, toh isme kya problem hai? Humein problem hai aur rahegi.” he said in the clip.
He also criticised Ranveer Allahbadia, pointing out the contradiction in his actions. He highlighted that Ranveer promotes Sanatan Dharma and spirituality, hosting renowned spiritual leaders on his podcast, yet holds such a degrading mindset. He firmly stated that this kind of thinking is unacceptable and will continue to be opposed.
With an earnest appeal to comedians, including Samay Raina and others on his show, Praak urged them to refrain from creating content that negatively impacts future generations. He warned that if such content is not stopped, it will have severe consequences for the youth.
With folded hands, Praak humbly requested them to preserve Indian culture and use their influence to inspire and motivate people instead of promoting harmful ideas. Given their widespread recognition, he believes they should focus on showcasing content that educates and uplifts audiences.
