Hania Aamir 'Speaks Out' against fake quotes amid Pahalgam attack: ‘It's easy to let emotions cloud our judgment'

Following the Pahalgam attack, the tension between India and Pakistan is growing. Amid all this, several Pakistani celebrities’ social media accounts have been banned in India. The decision was received with mixed sentiments, and on top of that, a report started surfacing that Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has requested the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, to reconsider the action. However, it appears that the request came from a fake account as Hania Aamir in her latest post has shared, “It is entirely fabricated and misrepresents who I am and what I believe.”

Hania Aamir breaks her silence on fake quotes on the Pahalgam attack

Though Hania’s official Instagram account isn’t working in India, her post is going viral all over the internet, with her fans sharing her words on the web.
“Recently, a statement has been falsely attributed to me and is being widely circulated on social media. I want to address this directly: I did not make this statement, and I do not endorse or align with the words being linked to me. It is entirely fabricated and misrepresents who I am and what I believe,” she mentioned in her post.
Hania then continued, “That being said, this is a deeply sensitive and emotional time. My heart goes out to the innocent lives lost and the families affected by the recent tragedy. Pain like this is real, and it deserves empathy-not politicisation. In times like these, it’s easy to let emotions cloud our judgment, but we must remember: the actions of extremists do not represent an entire nation or its people. Assigning blame without proof only deepens divides and distracts from the real need for compassion, justice, and healing”.
“To my beloved supporters, your love means everything to me. I kindly ask everyone to check the truth before sharing and to approach these difficult times with kindness and clarity. Let us honor those impacted by choosing empathy, truth, and togetherness. I remain committed to spreading positivity and respect in all that I do. With sincere condolences and hope for peace,” concluded the Pakistani artist.

Hania’s Instagram account gets blocked in India

Tensions between India and Pakistan have intensified following the terrorist incident in Pahalgam, leading to the restriction of several Pakistani celebrities’ Instagram accounts in India, including those of Hania Aamir and Mahira Khan. Instagram explains this situation as being due to their compliance with a legal request to limit access to the content.
Other Pakistani stars whose Instagram accounts have been blocked in India include Ali Zafar, Sanam Saeed, Bilal Abbas, Momina Mustehsan, Iqra Aziz, Imran Abbas, and Sajal Aly.
