Indigenous Airbus A320 flight simulator inaugurated in Pune by MoS aviation Murlidhar Mohol

PUNE: An indigenous Airbus A320 flight simulator, developed by Yo Skies Aviation Institute in Baner, was inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Murlidhar Mohol, a statement issued by the institute said. During the event, he experienced flying a plane using the advanced simulator.
At the inauguration, Mohol virtually experienced flying an Airbus A320 from Mumbai Airport on the simulator and described the experience as extremely enjoyable and realistic. He praised the simulator’s realism, training capabilities, and the achievements of young Indian engineers.
Yo Skies’ founder director, Squadron Leader (Retd.) Ajay Paranjape, and Director Captain Trupti Karnavat provided detailed information about the simulator to the dignitaries present, the statement added.
Businessman Krishnakumar Goyal, JITO Apex President Vijay Bhandari, Badecker Group President Praveen Badecker, JITO Apex Director Rajendra Jain, entrepreneur Rajendra Mutha, Chakan Industries President Motilal Sankla, Yo Skies founder director Squadron Leader (Retd.) Ajay Paranjape, and Director Captain Trupti Karnavat were present at the event.
Yo Skies requested the minister to make simulator-based training a mandatory part of the curriculum for every student pilot. Mohol responded positively, stating that he would certainly consider it seriously, the statement added.
Goyal said in the statement, “India is on the path of progress. It is a matter of pride for us that women are now becoming pilots and taking to the skies.” He specifically praised Captain Karnavat.
Bhandari stated, “Captain Trupti Karnavat has made the nation proud by flying in America. It is inspiring that men are supporting her wings. If the new generation is given the right direction, they will achieve the impossible.”
The simulator is entirely designed indigenously, reducing production costs by 75% compared to imported simulators. This allows ordinary citizens to experience flying at a very affordable rate. The simulator is fully designed and developed by Indian engineers, with Yo Skies’ team leading the effort.
