DOGE Latest News: Donald Trump Jr supports Elon Musk’s 19-year-old aide: ‘If Greta Thunberg is a serious climatologist…’
Donald Trump Jr could not wrap his head around the fact that people have a problem with Elon Musk’s young staff of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) — as young as 19 — who are now scrutinizing the federal departments and looking into the justification for their existence.
“One is 19 years old. His job title is Expert. When you were 19, what were you an expert at,” a social media user posted taking a jibe at Elon Musk’s 19-year-old staff Edward Coristine who has been in the national news for his internet identity ‘Big Balls’. Reacting to the post, Donald Trump Jr asked why then Greta Thunberg was considered a “really serious climatologist”.
“But Greta Thunberg at 17 was a really serious climatologist. I would stack any one of @elonmusk ’s genius computer scientists against her any day. Why don’t you instead discuss all of the things they’ve uncovered and exposed? Seems you don’t have much of an argument there,” Don Jr said.

Row over Elon Musk’s DOGE
Elon Musk’s DOGE has been dominating the headlines after Musk announced that USAID would be shut down. A few days before the announcement, DOGE staff had a face-off at the USAID office where they sought some access which the office staff initially denied. After Elon Musk’s intervention, the approval was given but within a few days, USAID was called useless making it look like the conflict with DOGE staff resulted in this. And insiders revealed that those staff were as young as 19 years old. A detailed account of who all are working in DOGE revealed that only Coristine is 19 years old and is the youngest. There are other members — some senior as well but the team that is interviewing federal employees and asking them to justify their job apparently comprises young people, college drop-outs.
Marko Elez, a 25-year-old staff, resigned after his problematic posts where he acknowledged that he’s racist and called for normalizing Indian hate surfaced. But Elon Musk rehired him based on an X poll which was in favor of the decision.
