January 2025 brought one of the darkest nights for the Pataudi family. On January 16, in the aftermath of an attempted robbery, actor Saif Ali Khan was brutally stabbed multiple times. Owing to the adrenaline rush Saif initially didn’t realize the severity of his wound, but later rushed to the hospital in an autorickshaw, accompanied by his son Taimur Ali Khan and house help. Taimur despite his tender age and the horrifying circumstances was adamant about accompanying his father.
Looking at the pure love and courage of the young lad, back then Taimur’s former nanny Lalita D’Silva applauded his strong mindset. In a conversation with India Today Digital, Lalita shared, “Both of them were alone. It really shocked me that little Taimur took his father to hospital. At his age, the child’s mindset is so strong, that’s unimaginable.”
She also highlighted Saif and Kareena’s parenting approach. “Saif sir and Kareena madam wanted their child to be raised normally, not like he’s a celebrity kid, or he’s a big superstar’s kid. Security-wise also, a bouncer used to accompany us, whenever we went around,” she mentioned.
In the same conversation, she also shared sweet words for Saif, who upon returning from the hospital resumed his life like nothing happened. She compared him to a lion, and said, “He is a Nawab, after all… Blue blood. I really respect Saif sir – what a strong personality inside and outside.”
She added that Taimur takes after his father’s personality and mentioned, “He will be strong like his Abba.”
“His parents are very strong-minded. Kareena madam is also a very strong-headed lady; she is so disciplined, and she is so strong,” she continued.
Currently, as we speak, Saif Ali Khan is recovering from his injuries at a good pace. He even resumed his work, and was recently seen at a promotional event of his upcoming show.
