The makers of the upcoming action thriller ‘Rowdy Janardhan,’ headed by Vijay Deverakonda, released the title and teaser of the film recently. The movie is currently in production, and reports regarding its release plans have started surfacing on the internet. According to the latest reports, it is expected to clash with a Nani starrer. Reports suggest a Christmas release clash
According to a report by 123Telugu, Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming movie, directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, is expected to hit the big screens during the 2026 Christmas release window. However, Natural Star Nani’s film with ‘They Call Him OG’ director Sujeeth is also reported to be released around the same time, making it a clash of two big-budget films.
‘Rowdy Janardhan’ teaser release
Speaking about ‘Rowdy Janardhan,’ the makers officially announced the film’s title and teaser during an event in Hyderabad. Vijay Deverakonda in the first look is seen drenched with blood and is seen holding a sharp weapon, slashing goons. He is seen with a moustache, with some light beard and curly hair. He is seen with an intense look, with scars and injuries on his body, and dons a dhoti. Unveiling his character on social media, he wrote, “The Biography of a Wounded Man in 1 Year. #RowdyJanardhana. December 2026.”The movie also features Keerthy Suresh playing the female lead. Further details about the plot of the film are yet to be unveiled by the makers.
‘Nani x Sujeeth’ film
On the other hand, Nani’s film with Sujeeth is currently in the pre-production phase, with the ‘Hi Nanna’ star currently occupied with the shooting of his next film, ‘The Paradise,’ with Srikantha Odela. The film will be their second collaboration and is set to be a raw and intense action thriller, which will be released on March 27, 2026.

On 2nd October, makers officially begin the film’s journey with a pooja ceremony, where Nani shared a picture with the director from the event. Sharing the picture, he wrote, “With all your love, here’s to the new beginnings. Happy Dasara. #NANIxSUJEETH”
