Filming for Shaji Kailas’s action thriller ‘Varavu’, starring Joju George, has concluded. The movie, set in the high ranges and billed as a ‘Game of Survival’, features a massive ensemble cast and a powerful technical crew. Principal photography took place across Munnar, Marayoor, Theni, and Kottayam. Joju George also has his next release, ‘Valathu Vashathe Kallan’, on the horizon.

The much-awaited action survival thriller ‘Varavu’, starring Joju George and directed by Shaji Kailas, has officially wrapped up filming.Director Shaji Kailas took to Instagram to share a pic with the crew and wrote, “SET AAYI !!! #varavumovie #shajikailas #jojugeorge.”

Penned by AK Sajan, the film is set in the high ranges and revolves around Polachan who is also known as Poly, a wealthy planter who returns to his homeland to confront unresolved rivalries and settle unfinished business.The movie comes with the tagline “Game of Survival.”. As expected from a Shaji Kailas film, the narrative promises an intense action drama filled with chills and thrills along with power packed dialogues.

‘Varavu’ boasts prominent names including Vani Viswanath, Murali Gopy, Arjun Ashokan, Sukanya, Baburaj, Vincy Aloshious, Saniya Iyappan, Ashwin Kumar, Abhimanyu Thilakan, Biju Pappan, Bobby Kurian, Azees Nedumangad, Sreejith Ravi, Deepak Parambol, Kottayam Ramesh, Balaji Sharma, Chali Pala and Radhika Radhakrishnan.The film features cinematography by S Saravanan, editing by Shameer Muhammed, music by Sam C S, and art direction by Sabu Ram. While ‘Varavu’ now moves into its post-production stage, Joju George already has his next film on the horizon. The actor will soon be seen in Jeethu Joseph’s Valathu Vashathe Kallan, in which he plays Samuel Joseph. The character poster was unveiled on Joju’s birthday. The film also stars Biju Menon in the lead as Antony Xavier and is scripted by Dinu Thomas Eelan, who previously wrote and directed ‘Koodasha’.
