UP Businessman Fights Death Rumors with Rickshaw Loudspeaker Announcement | Meerut News

Mohammad Aslam, 65, a cotton waste trader from Bijnor Road in Amroha, was away in Delhi for a week visiting relatives. In his absence, rumours surfaced that he died of a heart attack due to financial debts.
Shocked upon returning home and hearing about his own “death,” Aslam took an unconventional step to set the record straight. He visited a recording studio and recorded a message, which was later played across the city through a loudspeaker mounted on a rickshaw.
“Hazrat… Hazrat… Listen to an important announcement. I am alive and safe in my home. May Allah (God) forgive me, someone has spread the rumour of my death. Also remember that I do not have any debt,” the businessman said in the announcement.
People already make fun of the businessman due to his habit of saying ‘Allah forgive me’. The businessman took this entire incident in a positive way and gave proof of being alive in such a unique way, which has now become a topic of discussion in the city.
Mohammad Aslam said, “Everyone knows me very well in my city. That is why it was necessary for me to refute the rumours of my death. I have chosen a loudspeaker, putting on a rickshaw to convey my message to the people as it is common for me as I used a loudspeaker to advertise my cotton product here in Amroha.”
