Times Power Icons Punjab 2025: A celebration of innovation and leadership

The Times Power Icons Punjab 2025, presented by HDFC bank, powered by Havendaxa Pvt Ltd & Knowledge Partner – Rayat & Bahra Group held on March 18, 2025, at JW Marriott, Chandigarh, brought together thought leaders, industry pioneers, and changemakers for poignant discussions and celebrations.
The day began with a lamp lightening done by the Speaker of Punjab Assembly Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Dinesh Luthra, Senior Executive Vice President & Branch Banking Head – North – HDFC Bank, Akhilesh Sharma, Founder and CEO of Havendaxa.com and Sahil Kapoor Senior Group Vice – President of Business Development & Strategy at Rayat Bahra Group. The opening note by the honourable speaker of Punjab Assembly set an inspiring tone for the event. Dinesh Luthra, Senior Executive Vice President & Branch Banking Head – North 2, HDFC Bank
Mr. Dinesh Luthra showcased an insightful presentation at Times Power Icons Punjab 2025, He emphasised the crucial role of the MSME sector as a key driver of economic growth and employment. He highlighted HDFC Bank’s leadership in MSME lending, with assets in the segment standing at ₹5,03,598 crore as of March 31, 2024. He also underscored the government’s continued support through initiatives like the revamped CGTMSE scheme, Credit Guarantee to Startups (CGSS), and the Self-Reliant India Fund. With India poised to become the third-largest economy by 2028, Mr. Luthra reaffirmed HDFC Bank’s commitment to empowering businesses and fueling the nation’s economic progress.
