‘The Raja Saab’: Prabhas’ Horror-Comedy Film Gets Rs 1000 Premiere Tickets in Andhra Pradesh |
Prabhas who was last seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, will be next seen in the horror comedy ‘The Raja Saab’. The film is set to release on January 9 and ahead of it the Andhra Pradesh government has approved a ticket price hike. The revised ticket prices will apply to both paid premiere shows and regular screenings across the state.
Ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh
According to a report by Hindustan Times, ‘The Raja Saab’ will have paid premiere shows starting Thursday, whose ticket prices have been capped at Rs 1000. These shows are expected to see huge demand.Regular shows of the film will begin on January 9. For single-screen theatres in Andhra Pradesh, ticket prices have been increased by Rs 150. This means a ticket will now cost Rs 297 per seat. The hike has been approved for a limited period, keeping in mind the scale of the film and audience demand.Multiplex audiences will also have to pay more. In Andhra Pradesh multiplexes, ticket prices have been increased by Rs 200. The new price is Rs 377 per seat. This revised rate will be applicable for the first ten days of the film’s run. The government has also allowed the makers to screen up to five shows per day during this period.

Directed by Maruthi, ‘The Raja Saab’ is a horror-comedy where Prabhas plays the role of Raja Saab, a man and his grandmother is played by veteran actress Zarina Wahab. In the trailer shared by the makers, it shows Prabhas who seems to inherit an abandoned haveli and gets to understand its hidden truths.The movie features Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan and Riddhi Kumar as female leads. The film also includes Sanjay Dutt as the main antagonist and also features Boman Irani, Brahmanandam and Vennela Kishore in key roles.
