‘The Raja Saab’ box office collections day 21: Prabhas’ horror comedy film stuck at 35 lakhs | Telugu Movie News
‘The Raja Saab’ is still moving very slow at the box office even on day 21. The movie made only Rs 35 lakhs on this day. The worldwide number of the film is Rs 207.15 crore and the India net is Rs 144.93 crore. The India gross is Rs 172.9 crore and the overseas number is Rs 34.25 crore as per the Sacnilk website. But even with these totals the daily numbers are getting smaller and smaller.
Telugu numbers drop more
The Telugu version is the main one and it shows the slow run very clearly. The Telugu day 21 number is Rs 35 lakhs. Day 20 is Rs 34 lakhs and day 19 is Rs 34 lakhs. Day 18 is Rs 27 lakhs. The Telugu total npw stands at Rs 119 crore.
Hindi and Kannada numbers stay tiny
The Hindi version is also not moving much. It made only Rs 1 lakh on day 21 and day 20. For day 18 and 19 also it made Rs 1 lakh. Day 17 made Rs 2 lakhs. The Hindi total is Rs 24.22 crore. The Kannada version shows a total of Rs 39 lakhs and even on days 8, 9 and 10 it only made Rs 1 lakhs each day.
Cast and team could not save the film
The movie has a big cast. It has Prabhas, Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar. It is directed by Maruthi. Even with this strong team, fans are saying the film did not work the way it was shown before release. Some fans say they expected a fun mix of fantasy, horror and comedy, but they did not get anything close to that.
Mixed reviews but many fans sound upset
Social media is full of people talking about the film. One person wrote, “The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi and starring Prabhas, was meant to be a fantasy horror comedy. What it turns out to be is something far scarier: a complete creative collapse. This film doesn’t just disappoint. It tests patience, loyalty, and basic love for cinema. From the very first frame, the tone is alarmingly off. Prabhas’ entry, usually a guaranteed whistle moment, is shockingly underwhelming. It’s poorly staged, awkwardly placed inside a badly dubbed song, and easily the weakest entry sequence of his career this decade. For an actor of his stature, this feels not just lazy but disrespectful.”Another person wrote, “Even through movie hyped with horrer comedy there is not even a single funny moment in this film. Movie looks like a drama juniors set graphics are worst. Just 3 minutes trailer made full movie. No story line. No funny moments. No comedy timing. No situational songs. Everything messed up in this movie.”DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from diverse public and industry sources.
