‘The Chosen’ season 5 part two: Theater release, episode info, streaming dates, and where to watch
Fans of ‘The Chosen’, the faith-based drama series that tells the story of Jesus’ life and ministry, can look forward to more episodes hitting theaters this April.
According to a report, Season 5 of’ ‘The Chosen’ is being released in parts, and the next set of episodes, titled Part Two, is set to arrive in cinemas on April 4, 2025.
The release is structured into three parts. Part One, which includes Episodes 1 and 2, was released on March 28, 2025. Part Two, featuring Episodes 3 to 5, will be shown in theaters starting April 4. Following that, Part Three, covering the final three episodes (Episodes 6 to 8), will be released on April 11, 2025.
For those who want to experience the entire season at once, there’s good news. Special Easter Weekend screenings are scheduled for April 19 and 20, 2025. During that weekend, all eight episodes from Season 5 will be shown in select theaters. Special ticket bundles will be offered for those interested in watching the full season in one go. Pricing and showtimes may vary depending on the theater, so checking with local cinema chains or the official website is recommended.
As with previous seasons, Season 5 contains a total of eight episodes. The storyline this season focuses on powerful and emotional moments from Jesus’ life, including events leading up to and during the Last Supper.
International viewers won’t have to wait too long either. It was shared that Part One will start screening internationally on April 10, 2025, but release dates for Parts Two and Three in other countries are yet to be announced.
After the show’s theatrical run, fans will be able to watch Season 5 at home. Starting June 2025, the season will stream exclusively on Prime Video for a period of 90 days. This is part of a deal between 5&2 Studios, the creators of The Chosen, and Amazon MGM Studios. Once this exclusive streaming window ends, the season will also be available for free on ‘The Chosen’s’ official website and app.
