Several recent films have faced backlash for depicting women in dance sequences. Recently songs from films like ‘Daaku Maharaaj’, ‘Mr Bachchan’, and many others were criticized by the audiences for their vulgar dance steps which also lacked creativity.
One of the latest controversies involves the song Adhi Dha Surprisu from Nithiin’s upcoming film Robinhood, which was criticized by netizens for its suggestive choreography. One comment for the song in YouTube read, “Day by day we are entering in kalyug pro.” Another one wrote, “Didn’t expect such steps in Venky kudumula movie.” A third comment read, “Telugu cinema can’t make a movie without an item song….lol.” Another netizen said, “When you think Telugu Industry cannot go any more cheaper, they never fail to surprise us.”
