Singer Jasbir Jassi’s electrifying performance marks the grand opening of Cinevesture International Film Festival 2025

The second edition of the Cinevesture International Film Festival started with an electrifying performance by famous singer Jasbir Jassi, setting the stage for an inspiring celebration of cinema.
Jasbir Jassi’s vibrant folk melodies had the entire audience, including Nandita Das, Sudhir Mishra, and Honey Trehan, dancing with joy.
Held in Chandigarh from March 20 to 23, 2025, the first day of the Cinevesture International Film Festival Opened with the Korean award-winning feature ‘A Normal Family’ and the market CiveV-CHD featured insightful discussions, engaging conversations and thought-provoking industry panels.
Cine Voices included conversations with actor-director-producer Randeep Hooda, actor-filmmaker-social advocate Nandita Das, and producer-director Honey Trehan, who shared their perspectives on the evolving landscape of cinema.
Highlights of the first day of Industry talks included a compelling discussion by author Khushwant Singh on Maharaja in Denims, India’s first AI-generated feature film and an engaging session on The Business of Theatrical Distribution by Balwanth Singh, Founder of Zineeverse Motion Pictures Private Limited.
