Amrita Singh turned 67, receiving heartfelt wishes, including a special post from daughter Sara Ali Khan. Sara shared lovely pictures, thanking her mother for her genes. She recently wore Amrita’s black outfit to a friend’s wedding and called herself her mother’s ‘carbon copy.’

Sara shared a collage with a throwback photo of her and Amrita Singh and a recent one of herself wearing her mom’s old black outfit at a friend’s wedding. She mentioned loving her mom’s earrings and kurta from years ago, so she ‘copied’ her on her birthday.
She wrote, ‘Happiest Birthday Mommy Jaan Thank you for your genes since I can’t wear your (jeans emoji) But I can wear my favourite outfit of yours. I remember this evening with you- and loving your earrings and kurta and now I copied you on your birthday #carboncopy #copypaste Badhiya mummy so why waste.’
Sara’s second photo was a throwback of Amrita Singh. The last picture showed a moment from Sara’s birthday, where she was feeding cake to her mom.
As soon as she shared the post, likes and comments poured in from all sides. While one fan wrote, ‘How gorgeous amrita looks in the 1st pic. Yeah… thanking the genes is fair enough’, another one added, ‘Happy birthday to your amazing mama’.
Sara Ali Khan recently attended a friend’s wedding with her mom, Amrita Singh, and brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan. She wore a red saree, while Amrita chose a blue suit, and Ibrahim looked dapper in formals. For the reception, Sara wore her mom’s black ethnic suit and enjoyed Akon’s performance.
