Rise and Fall: Arjun Bijlani reacts to Arbaz Patel and Dhanashree Verma’s ‘hug controversy’; says, ‘He shouldn’t have said this’

Reality show Rise and Fall has kept fans hooked with its entertaining and dramatic episodes. As the OTT-based series nears its finale, contestants continue to make surprising revelations. Recently, Manisha Rani, who entered the show as a wildcard contestant, revealed that Arbaz Patel had asked Dhanashree Verma “not to give front hugs to the male contestants of the show.”A clip from a recent episode has been circulating on social media, showing Manisha in conversation with Arjun Bijlani. During the chat, she mentioned Arbaz and Dhanashree’s “hug controversy,” which left Arjun visibly surprised. Reacting to the revelation, Arjun said, “He shouldn’t have said this; it means something completely different.”
Manisha was heard saying, “Don’t tell this to Dhanashree, but in one of the episodes I saw that Arbaz was asking her not to give front hugs to the male contestants. He asked her to give side hugs only. Dhanashree, on the other hand, refused and said that she gives front hugs to everyone.” Arjun reacted with disbelief, saying, “What? I didn’t know this. Why did he say that? He shouldn’t have said it because it can be taken the wrong way.”Earlier in the season, Arbaz was seen telling Dhanashree not to hug male contestants, which sparked a wave of reactions online. Many fans criticized his possessive behavior, especially since he is in a relationship with Nikki Tamboli.Later, Nikki entered the show during Family Week to support Arbaz and addressed the matter directly. She advised him not to act possessive toward people he has only recently met, saying it “looks wrong from the outside.”In an interview with Times of India TV, Nikki explained, “Arbaz comes from a very reserved background. He hasn’t been around girls who hug so closely, so his reaction came from a place of concern, not discomfort. He was just being protective and caring at that moment.”
