Raveena Tandon Lauds Mohit Maalik for Rescuing Baby Sheep on Highway |
Actor and committed animal welfare advocate Raveena Tandon recently shared her appreciation for actor Mohit Maalik after he rescued a baby sheep wandering alone on a highway. The television actor shared a video on his social media handle to which the ‘KGF 2’ actor reacted.
Mohit Maalik stops mid-journey to protect the lost sheep
As seen in the Instagram post shared by Mohit Maalik, he was driving back to his hotel from work when he spotted the little sheep walking helplessly along the highway. Unable to ignore the situation, he immediately pulled over, picked up the distressed animal and began searching for her herd. “I couldn’t stop myself from picking her up and trying to find her family. I searched, but there was no trace of them,” he wrote in his caption, along with a video showing him cradling the sheep with care. The actor then decided to place the sheep in a safe house and ensure he remained protected.
Raveena responds and offers support through her rescue shelter
Raveena Tandon later commented on the post, asking, “Where did you leave it?” Mohit responded, assuring her that the baby sheep was safe and was left in a nearby house where people could take care of her.
The ‘Mohra’ actor later encouraged Mohit to turn to her rescue shelter if he ever comes across a similar situation again. To which he replied, “sure thing (heart emoji).”
Speaking of their work front, Mohit Maalik recently made his Bollywood debut in the 2025 action-adventure film ‘Azaad’. The movie also marked the debut of Aaman Devgan and also featured his uncle, the Bollywood star Ajay Devgan and Diana Penty. Interestingly, the film also included Rasha Thandani, making her debut, who is the daughter of Raveena Tandon.On the other hand, Raveena Tandon made her last outing in the 2024 films, ‘Ghudchadi’ and ‘Patna Shuklla’.
