Prabhas wishes Amitabh Bachchan on his 83rd birthday |
Rebel Star Prabhas who shared the screen with Indian cinema icon Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, took to social media to wish Big B as he turned 83 on Saturday. In his post, he called it a privilege to witness Bollywood’s Shehenshan’s legacy.Sharing a heartfelt message on his Instagram stories, ‘The Raja Saab’ actor wrote, “Happy birthday @amitabhbachchan sir. It’s a privilege to witness your legacy and work alongside you. Wishing you a wonderful year ahead, Sir. Happy Happy Happy Birthday.”
Working together in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’
Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan recently shared the screen in director Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi epic ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ released in 2024. In the film, Prabhas portrayed Bhairava, while Big B was seen in the role of Ashwatthama. The magnum opus also starred Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan in key roles. The film turned out to be a massive hit and made over Rs 1000 crore globally.
Shooting ‘The Raja Saab ‘ in Greece
Prabhas is in Greece shooting the last phase of his upcoming horror thriller ‘The Raja Saab’. The actor is currently filming song sequences under the direction of Maruthi. ‘The Raja Saab’, which was initially slated for a December 5 release, has now been postponed to January 9 next year. The film includes Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Ridhi Kumar. Additionally, Bollywood heavyweights Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani are part of the project.

Prabhas has multiple projects under her belt. He will also be working in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s cop action drama ‘Spirit’, Hanu Raghavapudi’s directorial and later work on the sequels of ‘Salaar’ and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan will be reuniting in ‘Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2’.Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan is hosting the current season of the Indian television show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
