Power Creator Awards 2025: Travel Edition, hosted by Times Entertainment at Eros Hotel, New Delhi, celebrated India’s most inspiring travel storytellers. While several creators were recognised under Jury and Popular categories, a select few received Special Recognition Awards, reserved for voices that have gone beyond trends to redefine how India experiences travel.Among this year’s standout honourees was Satya Prakash Dixit, whose evocative documentation of train journeys earned him the title for Best Railway Travel Content (Special Recognition). His work captures the nostalgia, rhythm, and human stories of India’s vast railway network.During an engaging conversation about travelling with pets, Divya Dugar who was honoured with the Best Pet-friendly Travel Content (Special Recognition) award for her efforts in promoting responsible and inclusive travel with animals — a niche yet rapidly growing segment in India, shared with pride how she has journeyed with her pets on trains, hitchhiked through Uttarakhand, embarked on countless road trips, and even travelled to Paris together.Receiving the Best Heritage Walk Content (Special Recognition) award, Sachin Bansal reflected on the deeper impact of travel creators in shaping how people experience India. “When we say Power Creators, you are the heroes,” he shared. “Because of the content you create, people are inspired to travel, to explore. Words like immersive, conscious, and rooted define travel today — and all the digital stories being shared translate into jobs, tourism, and a stronger travel economy. They open up new ways of seeing India.” When asked to name one hidden gem in Delhi that every traveller should experience, Bansal chose Feroz Shah Kotla, describing it as “a place that offers an entirely different vibe altogether.”Honoured with the Best Sustainable Travel Content (Special Recognition) award, Prerna Prasad emphasized the powerful influence travel creators hold in shaping the tourism landscape. She added, “People in this room are not just power creators, you’re truly powerful because you define the tourism industry. People watch your videos and decide where to travel next. It’s our responsibility to ensure that future generations can also experience the same serenity, the beaches, the mountains, the untouched beauty we see today. Sustainability is no longer a choice; it’s a necessity. We must adapt and find better, more mindful ways to travel.”Quoting Helen Keller, Barkha Singh, who received the Celebrity Travel Creator of the Year (Special Recognition) award said, “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.” She shared that her love for travel began as a way to follow her passion, and to momentarily escape her strict parents, which soon evolved into a lifelong passion. From hosting travel shows to representing India at international travel forums, Barkha says that travel is not just exploring the world for herself, but for her audience, capturing experiences, filming stories, and sharing the joy of travel with millions.These Special Recognition awards recognised creators who are not just documenting travel, but reshaping its meaning, fostering empathy, awareness, and connection through every story they tell.
