‘Pariah’ OTT release: When and Where to watch Vikram Chatterjee’s action-thriller
After receiving rave reviews during its 2024 theatrical run, Vikram Chatterjee-led ‘Pariah’ is now set to make its digital debut.’Pariah Volume 1: Every Street Dog Has a Name’, the Bengali thriller film, will be available to stream on ZEE5 from December 5, 2025.
A dark story rooted in animal rights and human cruelty
‘Pariah’ revolves around the journey of a solitary man. He lives in isolation until a stray puppy he adopts disappears. The movie has a ‘John Wick’ touch to it.What begins as an emotional search gradually leads him into the horrifying world of an illegal dog-trafficking network that operates from Kolkata to the Northeast.
Power-packed performances
Vikram Chatterjee leads the film with a career-defining performance. Angana Roy and Sreelekha Mitra play pivotal roles, with Mitra portraying the strong-headed NGO leader fighting for animal rights. Ambarish Bhattacharya’s portrayal of Supreme Court advocate M.N. Sharma further adds weight to the narrative. The supporting cast includes Tapati Munsi, Loknath Dey, Debashis Roy, and others.
Sequel already announced
The film is crafted as the opening chapter of a cinematic universe focused on the darker side of animal abuse. Even before its OTT release, the makers confirmed that a sequel is already in development.ETimes review for the movie reads, “The music is not really a highlight of the film, but the songs and the sounds do add to the visuals that swing between peaceful to violent in a matter of minutes. Overall, Pariah is a thriller where one man goes on a violent killing spree, is even caught on CCTV, but is never arrested.
