The Academy Awards have announced a second group of presenters for this year’s ceremony, featuring stars like Selena Gomez, Joe Alwyn, and more. Actor-comedian Nick Offerman will also serve as the official announcer, adding to the excitement surrounding the event.
The Oscars have announced more celebrities who will be presenting awards on the big night. The new list includes Joe Alwyn, Sterling K. Brown, Willem Dafoe, Ana de Armas, Lily-Rose Depp, Selena Gomez, Goldie Hawn, Connie Nielsen, Ben Stiller, and Oprah Winfrey, along with announcer Nick Offerman.
They will join the previously announced presenters, including Halle Berry, Penélope Cruz, Elle Fanning, Whoopi Goldberg, Scarlett Johansson, John Lithgow, Amy Poehler, June Squibb, Bowen Yang, and last year’s Oscar winners Emma Stone, Cillian Murphy, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Robert Downey Jr.In 2024, Emma Stone won Best Actress for Poor Things, while Cillian Murphy earned Best Actor for Oppenheimer. Stephanie Hsu won Best Supporting Actress for The Holdovers, and Robert Downey Jr. took Best Supporting Actor for Oppenheimer. Stone won her second Oscar, while Murphy, Hsu, and Downey Jr. were first-time winners.
The 97th Academy Awards, hosted by Conan O’Brien, will take place on March 2, 2025, at the Dolby Theatre. The event starts at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET and airs on ABC. For the first time, it will also stream live on Hulu. The red carpet begins 30 minutes earlier.
