Mahesh Babu’s rare transformation video from the gym goes viral; fans speculate it’s for SS Rajamouli’s SSMB29

The setting, which appears to be a home gym, has fuelled speculation among fans that this look is part of his transformation for his upcoming film with SS Rajamouli, tentatively titled ‘SSMB29’.
In the clip, shared by one of his fans on X (formerly Twitter), Mahesh sports a thick beard and long, fully grown hair, exuding a rugged charm that has now sparked speculation about his look in the movie. While many social media users were delighted to catch a brief glimpse of the actor after a long time, some showered praise on his dedication to the role. The video appears to have been shot recently.
Mahesh Babu has been staying away from the limelight for a while following the announcement of SS Rajamouli’s upcoming large-scale project. He was only seen at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding last year, apart from a few rare airport sightings. The actor consistently covered his hairdo and face during public appearances to keep his look under wraps.

Following a short initial schedule, the production is now reportedly underway in Hyderabad, with Priyanka Chopra Jonas also joining the cast.

Although details about SSMB29 remain largely under wraps, the film is said to be an action-packed global adventure, reportedly drawing inspiration from the works of British-South African novelist Wilbur Addison Smith. A significant portion of the film will reportedly be shot in Africa.
