The much-acclaimed ‘Lust Stories’, which earned an International Emmy nomination, is gearing up for its third installment on OTT. The new season brings together an impressive lineup of directors, Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Vishal Bhardwaj, and Shakun Batra, each taking charge of a unique story. The makers gave audiences a glimpse on Tuesday by revealing the first look, featuring a stellar ensemble cast including Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, Vijay Varma, Abhishek Banerjee, Gurfateh Pirzada, Sana Thampi, Ali Fazal, Radhika Madan, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Siddharth.

‘Lust Stories 3’ directors and cast revealed
As per Variety, Motwane’s segment features Radhika Apte and Konkona Sen Sharma in lead roles, while Shakun Batra’s short pairs Ali Fazal with Radhika Madan. Kiran Rao’s story brings together Gurfateh Pirzada and newcomer Sana Thampi, and Vishal Bhardwaj’s film stars Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead.

Meanwhile, the team behind ‘Lust Stories 3’ shared a statement saying, “This new chapter of Lust Stories continues our desire to explore intimacy in all its contradictions, tender, uncomfortable, restrained, and deeply personal forms. Each film approaches human connection from a distinct point of view, reflecting how desire and relationships are shaped by context, silence, and vulnerability. Together, these stories expand the conversation around love and longing, offering audiences an honest and contemporary lens on what it means to connect.”
‘Lust Stories 3’ writing team and release update
‘Lust Stories 3’ features an impressive lineup of writers, including Kiran Rao, Tanaji Dasgupta, Avinash Sampath, Sumukhi Suresh, Shakun Batra, Sameeha Sabnis, Ashwathi Namboodiri, Nitesh Bhatia, Utkarshini Vashishtha, and Vishal Bhardwaj. The anthology is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Ashi Dua. Set to release on Netflix, the date is yet to be announced. The first installment of ‘Lust Stories’ debuted in 2018, followed by ‘Lust Stories 2’ on OTT in 2023.
