Samantha Ruth Prabhu attended the NDTV World Summit 2025 session on ‘Authenticity’. During the same interview, the actress shared that she doesn’t think authenticity is the “final destination, but it is a work in progress.” The diva expressed that she doesn’t have everything sorted in her life; however, she can speak about it. She said, “I am not perfect; I might make mistakes, I might stumble, but I’m trying to be better.”Samantha shared that she has become authentic about everything because of her own journey, which happened in the public eye. The actress stated that she would be able to talk about her own life and not someone else’s. She said, “I can speak it and keep it as real as possible.”Samantha added that everyone is aware of her personal struggles—”the separation and the illness—as they all have been very public.” She went on to say, “It has come with a lot of trolling and judgment; a lot of judgment for being open and vulnerable.”

During the same event, Samantha discussed how social media and celebrity culture have influenced people’s conceptions of success and happiness. The actress expressed that everyone has access to how the top 1 per cent of the world lives. She said, “Everyone has access to that information, and that can be very demotivating. You have no way of having that kind of life. It is most important now that we also be responsible.
