Laughter Chefs season 2: Abhishek Kumar jokes about wanting to marry Rubina Dilaik’s relative; her response will leave you in splits
Laughter Chefs is celebrated for its distinctive mix of comedy and the contestants’ culinary talents. Following the success of its debut season, the makers launched a second edition. In the latest promo, Abhishek Kumar is seen showering compliments on Rubina Dilaik and even jokingly inquiring if anyone from her family would be interested in marrying him. As they work in teams towards making Rasgulla, their playful exchange has everyone bursting into laughter.
The promo begins with Chef Harpal Sokhi revealing that the contestants must prepare West Bengal’s famous sweet, Rasgulla. Upon hearing this, Ankita Lokhande excitedly lets out a joyful scream. As everyone gets busy with their cooking, Rubina Dilaik seems puzzled when it comes to curdling the milk, a crucial step in the preparation of the dish.
Abhishek Kumar mimics every step taken by the actress and remarks, “Even if you make a mistake, it somehow fixes itself automatically. I have no idea why.” As she instructs them on souring the milk, she incorporates terms like coagulate and strain in her explanation.
In response, Abhishek asks her to repeat the instructions in Hindi, admitting that he doesn’t understand English. Meanwhile, Samarth Jurel jumps in, claiming he gets what she’s saying but struggles to explain it to Kumar.
Later, the Bigg Boss 14 winner asks Bharti Singh whether rasgullas are deep-fried. Abhishek responds confidently, “If Rubina ji is saying it, then it must be correct.” Amused, she approaches him and playfully accuses him of flattering her. In his defense, the Bigg Boss 17 runner-up insists, “I’m a very good boy. Why are you saying this to me?”
He then playfully asks Dilaik, “Agar aapki koi chacheri beti ho toh. Chacha ji ki beti hogi. I’m single.” (If you have any cousin… maybe your uncle’s daughter? I’m single.)
In response, the actress smiles and clarifies, “Nahi, mere parivaar mein sab ladkiyon ki shaadi ho gayi hai.” (No, all the girls in my family are already married.)
Laughter Chefs season 2 has few new Jodis like Abhishek Kumar-Samarth Jurel, Mannara Chopra is teamed up with Sudesh Lehri, Elvish Yadav-Abdu Rozik and Rubina has been paired with Rahul Vaidya.
