Kim Kardashian talks about nerves at the prospect of acting with Glenn Close in All’s Fair

Kim Kardashian is getting her second big scripted TV gig, and even she is nervous. The 44-year-old businesswoman and reality TV personality will appear in Ryan Murphy’s new legal drama All’s Fair, which also features a cast of heavy-hitters.
On April 3’s episode of The Kardashians, Kim vented to her sister Khloé Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner about her nervousness, particularly about acting alongside iconic actress Glenn Close.
Kim on Working With an “A++ Cast”
At a dinner in Joshua Tree, Kim spoke about her nerves and excitement regarding her new role.
“I’m nervous. I’m actually really nervous, cause I have to bring it,” she admitted. “The second episode, I have a huge scene—just me and Glenn Close, like a really important one.”
In a confessional, Kim couldn’t help but gush over Close, playfully fangirling:
“We are talking about Cruella de Vil here. I am acting with Cruella de Vil.”
She also complimented the show’s stellar cast, which features Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, Teyana Taylor, and Sarah Paulson as an “A++ cast.” Although she’s “really excited to get to work,” she confessed that the people around her are “definitely making me a little nervous.”
Balancing Acting and Motherhood
Kim is taking her acting career seriously enough to hire the same acting coach who assisted her in preparing for American Horror Story: Delicate, her debut scripted TV show. But she’s also making sure that her new venture does not interfere with her role as a single mom to her four kids—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
“It’s usually gonna be three [days a week], so I can drop the kids off, go, and be home by bedtime. So that was super important to me,” she said.
What to Expect From All’s Fair
Though plot points for All’s Fair are still under wraps, the legal drama will deliver high-octane courtroom drama, electrifying performances, and the classic storytelling of Ryan Murphy. With Kim’s increasing acting experience and a powerhouse ensemble to share the screen with, the show is already making quite a buzz.
