Kareena Kapoor Khan is completing 25 years in the industry and the actress has come a long way ever since her debut film ‘Refugee’. In a recent interview, Kareena has opened up on how she has stopped chasing things in her career now and now there is more to her life than just her work. The actress has strived at creating a beautiful work life balance and has opened up on it in an interview recently.Kareena said in a chat with Nod magazine, “I’ve had the privilege of doing so many different kinds of cinema, so many roles. And even now, I don’t feel like it’s enough. I never want to feel like I’ve done everything.” Thus, the actress prefers quality over quantity. “It’s not about quantity anymore. It’s about choosing the right roles, ones that challenge me and excite me. I want to preserve my energy, my talent, myself,” she added.She’s happy about not chasing anymore. Kareena said, “I’m happy I’m not chasing anymore. I see younger actors running from one thing to the next, and I just think: I’m glad I’m past that.”She further added how they bond as a family while cooking and she eats her dinner at 6pm and goes to bed by 9 30 pm. “My friends know not to expect me at parties. And they respect that. They know I’ll be watching Schitt’s Creek on low volume,” she said.The ‘Omkara’ actress added, “We love cooking together as a family. Saif, the kids, me—we’re all in the kitchen. Saif is obsessed with Kerala cuisine. He’s always trying out new recipes—idiyappams, coconut-based stews, everything. Me? I need my one proper Indian meal a day. Non-negotiable.”Talking further about creating a work-life balance, Bebo said, “I don’t feel like leaving my kids alone or because I don’t want to be seen at some awards show. I want to be able to choose—because I’d rather sit at home with my husband and watch a show or have a glass of wine. That’s one of the biggest changes I have gone through, personally. It is up to me to strike a work-life balance.”
