Jennie's Manager Sparks Controversy with Alleged Shade at BLACKPINK Members

Jennie, the K-pop singer who has taken the internet by storm with her ‘Like Jennie’ song, has sparked controversy after her manager, Jeremy Erlich reposted a tweet that allegedly throws shade at BLACKPINK’s other members.
A discussion on Pann, the South Korean online platform, has been under the radar as Jeremy was caught reposting the tweets that make snide remarks about the K-pop band members. The flame ignited when Jeremy Erlich reposted a review of Joshua Minsoo Kim that appreciates Jennie’s new album ‘Ruby,’ calling it the best album among BLACKPINK members and the best album among the K-pop industry. Fans quickly noticed the shade and did not hesitate to comment on Jeremy’s gestures, according to Koreaboo.
The post appreciated Jennie as well as the producers of the album, stating, “It’s actually crazy how good JENNIE’s Ruby is. It’s not just the best album from a BLACKPINK soloist, but one of the best albums from a K-pop soloist ever (especially on a non-Big 4 label). It makes sense though – production from Dem Jointz, Mike Will Made It, El Guincho… like c’mon.”
On Pann, the post that caught the eye had screenshots of Erlich cheering Jennie as he shared her content on his account. Additionally, there were screenshots of Jeremy’s work profile that indeed had proof of him working for Jennie.

However, the fans noticed that the critic who praised Jennie’s album had previously called Lisa’s work a ‘Bad Album,’ according to Koreaboo.
Joshua Minsoo Kim posted a statement stating Lisa doesn’t like singing, and everyone ‘who has good music taste can tell.’ Retracting the statement, Kim mentioned that Lisa just needs to work on her skills, and she can at least get a 5.3, shading that while Lisa enjoys singing – she is just bad at it.
