JECRC sets new benchmark with impressive female placements in a landmark year for career empowerment | India Business News

In a major step toward gender-inclusive higher education and professional success, JECRC University has set a new benchmark by achieving 35% female representation in its 2025 placement season. Out of over 2,230 students placed so far this academic year, a significant share of offers went to women students, a feat that underscores the university’s commitment to empowering women through quality education and career readiness. This milestone is part of a broader success story at JECRC University, which has now crossed 12,030 placement offers in the past five years, positioning itself among the top private universities in India for career outcomes. With a campus that promotes diversity, innovation, and hands-on training, JECRC is not just creating job-ready graduates—it’s creating leaders, especially among young women in STEM and business disciplines.
Women leading the way in campus recruitment
As global companies increasingly seek balanced and inclusive talent pools, JECRC’s female students are rising to the occasion. Women from engineering, management, commerce, and IT backgrounds were among the 876 students who secured job offers above ₹7 LPA this year. In fact, the highest package of ₹33 LPA was also achieved in a technical discipline—a strong signal that women are not only participating in traditionally male-dominated fields but excelling in them. With 35% of all placement offers going to female students, JECRC University stands out as a beacon of gender inclusion in higher education. This figure marks one of the highest female placement ratios in a private Indian university and is especially notable in engineering and tech domains where women have been historically underrepresented.Speaking about the achievement, Mr. Arpit Agrawal, Vice Chairperson of JECRC University, said:“At JECRC, we believe that women have a critical role to play in the workforce of tomorrow. Our job is to create the right platform, mentorship, and opportunity to help them thrive. The success of our female students is not only a reflection of their dedication but also of the inclusive environment we’ve built.”
Industry trust and broad-based success
In the current academic year alone, over 140 companies have recruited from JECRC’s campus, with global IT firms like TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, and LTI Mindtree making 860 offers collectively. Of these, a sizeable number went to female candidates, particularly in roles involving cloud computing, software development, and business analysis.

Fortune 500 companies extended 825 offers, with several of JECRC’s women students placed in high-impact roles. Even in non-technical programs like BBA, BCA, and B.Com, more than 125 offers were made—predominantly by TCS and Accenture—further proving the diverse employability of JECRC graduates across disciplines.
A placement model designed for equal opportunity
The university’s Campus Recruitment Training (CRT) model has been pivotal in this achievement. With over 300 hours of structured training in aptitude, coding, communication, and personality development, CRT ensures students—regardless of gender—receive the tools to compete and succeed in global hiring environments.Delivered by 100+ expert trainers in collaboration with platforms such as CoCubes, AMCAT, HackerRank, PrepInsta, and TCS iON, the training is customised to individual strengths. Special sessions are also conducted to build confidence, leadership, and corporate communication skills among women candidates.Further, the university’s academic-industry collaborations have proven especially beneficial for female students. Programmes like ServiceNow, AWS certifications, and industry-linked curricula in cloud computing, data science, and full-stack development have helped women gain industry-recognised skills and hands-on exposure.
Celebrating student transformation
JECRC doesn’t view placements merely as a statistic—it treats them as milestones of transformation. Events like the ‘Placement Fiesta’ and ‘TPO Day’ are organised to honor student achievements and faculty mentors alike. This inclusive culture has not only increased student morale but has helped female students feel recognised and empowered in their journey.
National recognition for a progressive approach
