Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has lost her beloved mother, Kim Fernandez. She passed away on Sunday, 6 April 2025, after being admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Lilavati Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai. According to reports, Kim had suffered a heart stroke in March and had been under medical care since then.
In the video we can see Jacqueline hurrying to pay last respects to her mother, wearing her mask looking visibly shaken and emotional. The actress was accompanied by her father, Elroy Fernandez, and other family members.
Reportedly Jacqueline’s elder sister, Geraldine Walker, and her brothers, Warren and Ryan Fernandez, had also flown in to be with their mother in her final days.
Sonu Sood shows his support
Actor Sonu Sood, Jacqueline’s co-star in the film ‘Fateh’, was one of the first from the film industry to visit the hospital and support her during the heartbreaking moment. In videos shared online by paparazzi accounts, Sonu Sood was seen arriving to offer his condolences to the grieving family.
About Kim Fernandez
Kim Fernandez had previously faced a serious health scare in 2022 when she suffered a stroke and was hospitalised in Bahrain. She recovered but remained under close care. Kim was of Malaysian and Canadian heritage. Her maternal grandfather was Canadian, while her great-grandparents originally hailed from Goa, India. Kim spent most of her adult life in Manama, Bahrain. Kim and Elroy Fernandez, together, have four children: Geraldine, Warren, Ryan, and Jacqueline—the youngest of them.
