‘Hera Pheri 3’ teaser to release before IPL 2025 Finale, confirms Suniel Shetty; Fans rejoice

‘Hera Pheri 3’ has been the talk of the town ever since it was officially announced. The anticipation surrounding the third installment of the beloved comedy franchise has only grown stronger, especially with fans eagerly awaiting the return of the iconic trio—Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar, and Paresh Rawal.
Adding fuel to the excitement, Suniel Shetty recently shared a major update in an interview with Amar Ujala. He revealed that the teaser of ‘Hera Pheri 3’ is ready and will be unveiled just before the finale of IPL 2025. This news has thrilled fans, who can’t wait to see Raju, Shyam, and Baburao back on the silver screen after more than two decades.
When asked about the progress of the film, the ‘Kesari Veer’ actor confirmed that shooting has already begun and the project is currently in development. Expressing his enthusiasm about reuniting with his co-stars, Suniel said, “I’m excited because it’s the same team. There’s always a lot of fun on set.” Speaking fondly about his chemistry with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal, he added, “Whenever the three of us are together, it’s absolute chaos for everyone around us—in the best way!”
The anticipation is justified. ‘Hera Pheri 3’ arrives almost 24 years after the original film, ‘Hera Pheri’ (1999), captured hearts and became a cult classic. Fans have long yearned for the return of the legendary characters—Raju, Shyam, and Baburao—whose hilarious misadventures have stood the test of time.
Director Priyadarshan, who helmed the first film, previously acknowledged the challenges of making a third part in an interview with ETV. “It’s going to be very challenging because there will be immense expectations,” he said. “The characters have aged, and the audience needs to believe in them again. These are crucial aspects. I’m taking it as a challenge. Let’s see how it turns out.”
With the teaser release now officially confirmed to precede the IPL 2025 finale, fans are more eager than ever. The return of ‘Hera Pheri’ promises nostalgia, laughter, and the magic of a trio that has left an indelible mark on Indian cinema.
