Hebah Patel opens up about her role in ‘Odela 2’: My character will be as impactful as in the first film |

Hebah Patel, who featured in the’ 2022 hit film ‘Odela Railway Station,’ is set to return in the upcoming sequel of the franchise titled ‘Odela 2.’ Recently, she shared insights about her role in the film, promising that her character will leave as strong an impact as it did in the original film.
As per a report by IANS, Hebah revealed that she shares multiple scenes with Tamannaah Bhatia, who plays a Naga Sadhu in ‘Odela 2.’ She also mentioned that her character is primarily featured in intense jail sequences, while Tamannaah portrays her sister.

Speaking about the sequel, Hebah expressed her surprise at its scale and ambition. She mentioned that when ‘Odela Railway Station’ was made during the lockdown, she never imagined it would spawn a follow-up of this magnitude. She further spoke about how she did not think that there would be a sequel to it. She said, “The film received a very good success. It was a greater success than we expected. All the audiences who saw the film praised it as being very good. But even then, I did not expect that the sequel to this film would be at this level and that there would be a sequel on such a grand scale.”

She further explained how the sequel is different from the prequel. The first part revolved around a murder mystery, but ‘Odela 2’ has a supernatural thriller genre. She described the sequel as “much bigger” than the first film, packed with amazing elements.
Directed by Ashok Teja, the film features Tamannaah Bhatia, Vasishta N. Simha, and Yuva in key roles. The film’s music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, while Soundar Rajan handles the cinematography.
