In December 2025, singer and actress Hailee Steinfeld made the happy announcement that she and her beau, Josh Allen, were expecting their first baby. The two had shared adorable photos and videos to commemorate the event; however, not much else had been shared with the world since then. In a recent post, however, the singer seems to be dropping a major hint about the baby.
Hailee Steinfeld hints at baby name
On January 2, as per E!News, the singer took to her ‘Beau Society Substack,’ where she possibly dropped a hint about what her baby’s name will be. On her blog, she posted a photo of what seemed to be a knit sweater, which was placed under the Christmas tree. The sweater also seemed to have the words ‘Baby Beau’ embroidered on them as well, leading fans to the hint that her soon-to-be-born baby’s name may already have been decided. She also added photos of her best moments in 2025, many of which included her hubby, Josh Allen, as she reminisced about the past and talked about looking forward to the future. Her post read, “milestones, growth and moments that have reshaped me in ways I’m still processing.”Recently, the idol also posted another photo showing off her baby bump. She posted a photo of her shadow in a side pose and she showed off her baby bump, along with a framed image of a heart which also read “moms are underrated” pasted on the wall.
Why is ‘Beau’ special to Hailee Steinfeld
In her blog in November last year, the ‘Sinners’ star had revealed that the name ‘beau’ was something really special to her. She had explained that “Before I was born, my parents couldn’t decide whether to name me Hailee or Bailee. Obviously, they landed on Hailee, but still liked the sound of Bailee, so they started calling me ‘Hailee Beau Bailee’, which we shortened to Beau.”
