Suffolk’s peaceful charm has been marred by a series of burglaries, igniting fears among its residents, particularly when beloved stars Rose Leslie and Kit Harington discovered their picturesque home had been invaded. With the festive season just around the corner, the thieves focused their efforts on a valuable outbuilding, leaving the community in disarray.

Actors Rose Leslie and Kit Harrington’s home in Suffolk was burglarized, according to recent reports. They were one of the many houses that had been hit in the area during the weeks leading up to the Christmas season.

Thieves hit Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie’s home in a string of break-ins

According to reports shared by Female First UK, the couple’s home in Suffolk, along with many other homes in the area, reported break-ins. It was not revealed whether the celebrity couple, along with their daughter and son, were in the home at the time of the break-in or not. It has not been confirmed whether something of value was stolen from the couple’s home or not. The Daily Mail reported that they specifically targeted the USD 2.6 million outbuilding. A resident’s statement from the time of the burglary said, “Everyone knows Kit and Rose are here, and we’re proud that they chose our little bit of the countryside to live in. But we’re also very protective of their privacy, so it was upsetting when we heard that they’d been broken into, along with some other local people.” The thieves hit another space in the area at the same time. The Suffolk Police Department amped up security in the area following the reported break-ins.

More about the ‘Game of Thrones’ couple’s home

Kit Harrington purchased the Suffolk residence in 2017, a year after which he married his co-star from ‘Game Of Thrones,’ Rose Leslie. After the two moved in together, they reported that their privacy had been breached on multiple occasions. Taking measures to amp up security, Harrington, in 2021, filed a report for a planning application. The application was for building solid oak gates of 6ft at two different places in the property.
