Fan Chengcheng, a popular Chinese idol, was recently almost injured due to a rash incident involving saesang (obsessive) fans. A video has gone viral on popular social media platforms, sharing incidents of when the idol was almost hit by a car filled with saesang fans who had been following him.

Fan Chengcheng gets almost run over

Fan Chengcheng, known for being a part of the boy groups Nine Percent and NEX7, has recently been going viral after a video of him dealing with saesang fans was shared online. The video showed the idol arriving at the airport in China. Fans of the singer had been following him for quite some time already in their car.In the video that has been massively shared online, one of the staff members who was accompanying Chengcheng at the time can be seen and heard requesting that the phones be turned off in the car and for them to stop following the celebrity. Rather than stopping, they continued to follow them, and the video even shows them sharply swerving and suddenly. A staff member then approaches the vehicle and talks to the people in the car. Earlier on August 17, as per reports from Chinese news media outlet SINA, the idol’s management agency had issued an official statement about what had happened with him at the airport. According to the report, the police were called to the scene, and the people present in the car at the time were taken into custody.

Management issues an official statement about the matter

Chengcheng’s management agency had also issued an official statement about it and had shared the official video on their channels in order to support their claims.His management agency’s statement read, “Our company has preserved relevant video evidence of this vile behaviour. After safely transporting our artiste to the hotel, we reported the incident to the police and submitted the aforementioned evidence to the public security authorities in accordance with the law to hold those involved accountable. We thank the Hangzhou police for their timely response and bringing the individuals involved back to the public security authorities for processing”.They also urged people to stop supporting saesang fan behavior at all costs as well.
