Marking Nahas Hidayath’s second directorial venture after the blockbuster RDX, I Am Game boasts an impressive technical crew. Jakes Bejoy is on board as the music composer, while Jimshi Khalid handles cinematography. The screenplay is penned by Sajeer Baba, Ismail Abu Bakkar, and Bilal Moidu, with dialogues by Aadarsh Sukumaran and Shahabas Rasheed. Chaman Chacko takes charge of editing.
The title itself exudes an adrenaline-fueled energy, hinting at a thrilling ride for the audience. Given Nahas Hidayath’s knack for delivering high-octane action sequences which he proved with his directorial debut ‘RDX’, and Dulquer Salmaan’s star power, I Am Game is expected to be a crowd-puller.
Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan is expected to make his grand comeback in Malayalam film industry as his previous Mollywood film ‘King of Kotha’ turned out to be a flop. On the other hand, DQ’s Telugu film ‘Lucky Baskhar’ turned out to be a superhit, earning 3.5 star rating from ETimes with our official review which reads, “Dulquer Salmaan, who transforms into Baskhar, delivers a performance that is simple, balanced, and profoundly effective. He pours life into the role, making Bhaskar relatable and approachable, drawing audiences into his journey with an authentic portrayal. Meenakshi Chaudhary, seen previously in a limited role in Guntur Kaaram, is seen in a more substantial role here, and she shines as Sumathi, the devoted wife and mother. Her portrayal adds depth to the film’s emotional landscape. The supporting cast, which includes seasoned actors like Ramki, Sachin Khedekar, P. Sai Kumar, Tinnu Anand, and Raghu Babu, as well as younger actors like Rithvik, Maanasa Choudhary, Hyper Aadi, Srinath Maganti, and Surya Sreenivas, deliver solid performances that effectively support the main narrative.”
