Hemachandran Ravikumar honoured as R&D Samrat at the International Laureates Recognition Conclave 2025

In a landmark moment that celebrated visionary intellect, ethical leadership, and scientific diplomacy, Dr Hemachandran Ravikumar was conferred with the prestigious title of ‘R&D Samrat’ (King of Research and Development) during the International Laureates Recognition Conclave 2025, held on 28th May 2025 at the Universal Peace Foundation, Thirumoorthy Hills, Tamil Nadu.The title was presented in recognition of his exceptional global leadership in scientific innovation, research mentorship, and ethical development of interdisciplinary knowledge. As the ambassador of the Royal Society of Biology (UK), a registered scientist with the UK Science Council, and the chief research advisor of the UNS Research Council, he has become a torchbearer for scientific integrity, global collaboration, and transformative education.Conceptualised and executed by Suresh Sathyanarayanan, chief research officer of UNS Research Council and Convenor of IFSMHP, the conclave drew 1,000+ invitees and over 250 awardees from across India and abroad. Speaking during the ceremony, he praised Dr Hemachandran as a living force of vision and virtue:“He is not just a scientist—he is a symbol. A symbol of truth in research, a mentor to the next generation, and the R&D Samrat of our time. His contribution is not counted in citations, but in the lives he’s ignited with knowledge.”Dr Hemachandran’s role in integrating research, ethics, and consciousness has inspired the development of major programmes including the UNS Junior Research Fellowship, the scientific forum support of Edsurance educational platform, and multiple global science festivals. His strategic guidance has led hundreds of students and professionals to publish in Scopus, Web of Science, and UGC Care journals, while promoting India’s voice in the global scientific community.In his acceptance, Dr Hemachandran stated with humility and resolve:“To be honoured as R&D Samrat is to be entrusted with responsibility—responsibility to lead with conscience, to teach with compassion, and to research with purpose.
