After Diljit Dosanjh touched Amitabh Bachchan‘s feet as a mark of respect, the singer found himself at the center of controversy. A Khalistani outfit condemned Dosanjh’s gesture and issued threats against him. The Chief of Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, warned the singer that the group will disrupt his upcoming concert in Australia on November 1.

Now, amidst the buzz around the controversy, Diljit Dosanjh has dropped a cryptic post on his Instagram account. He didn’t address the issue directly but explained why he participated in the show. On his IG Story, the singer wrote in Punjabi, “Na Mai Kisey Film Di Promotion Lai Geya c, Na Kisey Ganey Di Promotion Lai. Punjab Floods Lai Geya C… Ke National Level Te Gal Hove… Te Loki Donate kar Sakan.”

Meanwhile, Diljit has not addressed the threats publicly. He is currently busy with his AURA World Tour.
