Country music singer Lainey Wilson, 32, has announced her engagement to her longtime boyfriend former NFL player Duck Hodges, 28. After dating for about four years, the couple has decided to put a ring on it.
In a collaborative post shared on Wednesday night on Instagram, the couple announced, “4x4xU forever.”
The couple shared the big moment on Instagram, in which Hodges is proposing Wilson, and the latter saying ‘Yes’. In the pictures that accompanied the post, Wilson was seen wearing a red coat, teamed with signature bell bottoms, and cowboy hats.
Wilson also gave a glimpse of her large diamond, and in one picture, the duo can be seen kissing. She also dropped a hilarious video of her limping. During the ‘Country Heat Weekly’ podcast episode in August 2024, Wilson has hinted about their relationship getting serious. “I don’t care what shape it is, but I want to be walkin’ with a limp,” Wilson joked.

Lainey Wilson met Duck Hodges in Nashville through mutual friends in 2021. The couple has been dating ever since then. Last month, the singer dropped a hint that she was going to have to get down on one knee. “I might have to propose to him,” Wilson told Jelly Roll’s wife Bunnie Xo during an interview for CMT.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Lainey Wilson’s “Whirlwind” world tour will kick off in Zurich on Mar. 4. The tour is scheduled to end in Orlando on Nov. 8.
