Megastar Chiranjeevi will be next seen in the much-anticipated ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’ directed by Anil Ravipudi. Ahead of the film’s release during the Sankranti festive season, the makers today shared the trailer of the family entertainer. Let’s check out the trailer.
What’s in the trailer of ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’?
The 2-minute 40-second trailer shows the film is set to be, all in all, a comedy action drama film. It shows the Megastar in a comical yet action-packed style, which his earlier projects are known for. Starring as a former National Intelligence Agency (NIA) officer, Chiranjeevi can also be seen doing action drama.
The trailer also shows Nayanthara playing the role of Sasirekha and is seen as someone coming from a rich background, being the daughter of a billionaire. The trailer teases that the story is about Shankara Vara Prasad, a former security agent. He falls in love with Sasirekha and starts a new life as a family man. But his past comes back, and he must use his old skills to face new problems.Additionally, in the end of the trailer, it also includes moments where Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh Daggubati share banter and their screen presence looks just perfect.
About the cast and crew
Director Anil Ravipudi’s previous film, ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’, which became a huge box office success, was also released during the same release window last year and also starred Venkatesh Daggubati in lead.The cast of the film also includes Catherine Tresa, VTV Ganesh, and Sharat Saxena, among others.The music of the film is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.
Release details and other competitions
The movie is set to release on January 12.It will be facing competition with Prabhas’ starrer ‘The Raja Saab’ and Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ releasing on January 9. Additionally, Naveen Polishetty-starrer ‘Anaganaga Oka Raju’ will also be releasing on January 14.
