Boman Irani reveals how he landed 'The RajaSaab', heaps praises on Prabhas: 'He talks like a young boy'
Veteran actor Boman Irani shared his experience working with Prabhas on ‘The RajaSaab’. Irani was impressed by Prabhas’ humble and down-to-earth attitude. He described Prabhas as having a boyish innocence and a contagious laugh. Prabhas treats everyone with respect, regardless of their position. Irani admired Prabhas’ humility despite his superstardom. The film also stars Malavika Mohanan and Sanjay Dutt.

At the launch event of the much-anticipated song ‘Nache Nache’ from the film ‘The RajaSaab,’ veteran actor Boman Irani has regaled his audience with tales of working with superstar Prabhas. Known for his larger-than-life on-screen persona, superstar Prabhas surprised Boman Irani with his humble attitude off-screen, a side not many fans are familiar with. Boman Irani chose to shed some light on the less-famous, his contagious laughter, and his boy-next-door looks and give all of us fans a taste of his time spent working on this multi-lingual movie.

Boman Irani praises Prabhas’ down-to-earth nature

Speaking openly about Prabhas while on the sets, Boman Irani was very vocal that superstardom comes with different expectations of behavior. He further explained, “And it’s NOT! With his team, with the other actors, with the small actors, with the technicians, with every single person, Prabhas talks like a young boy.” He has a handshake culture with everyone, which makes the atmosphere relaxed and chummy.

Boman Irani went on to describe the endearing innocence that Prabhas carries despite his immense fame. “There is something boy-ish about him, there is something innocent about him. He is enjoying his superstardom, but he is not rubbing it in front of you. He’s a superstar, we recognise it, but he doesn’t want you to treat him like a superstar,” he explained. He also spoke about Prabhas’ penchant for all things silly, saying, “The way he likes to joke, he likes to laugh, and anyone says something funny, he is the first one to laugh the loudest and the longest, as if to say he is still a teenager. It’s so beautiful.”

Boman Irani reflects on rare humility

Reflecting on the lack of humility at the ‘height of success’, Boman Irani had remarked, “The innocence of someone who could have arrived at a certain status… and still be so innocent. I’d like to be like that.” Directed by Maruthi, ‘The RajaSaab’ also features Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, and Sanjay Dutt, besides Boman, and is set to release across Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
